Are you like every other local business looking to leverage Facebook to drive traffic to your website?

This month’s South Coast WordPress meetup will be focusing on using Facebook with your WordPress website and how to drive traffic from your social stream. Are you wondering how to get Facebook like widgets or social sharing buttons on your own site?

Matt Medeiros and Nick Francis will host February’s meetup and demonstrate the practices of using Facebook with WordPress. We will walk through some of the solutions we use with our own client’s and demonstrate how to perform the functions on a test site.

Even if you don’t currently use WordPress as your web publishing platform – there’s still plenty to learn. We will be looking at common Facebook widgets and how to strategically place them throughout the site in order to increase your social reach. Matt and Nick will also discuss some of the strategies they use with their clients for inbound marketing using social media.

Kicking off South Coast WordPress meetup!

Tomorrow marks our first South Coast WordPress meetup and we’re super excited!

We don’t have a specific format pinned down just yet, but we hope to  get some great feedback from all of you tomorrow. We have our guest speaker lined up, Linda Faulkner from LindaFaulkner.com to speak about launching her site recently on the WordPress platform. Those of you new to WordPress and web marketing should enjoy listening to Linda tell the story of her new launch.

If we run out of time introducing the plan for SCWP and our guest speaker, we’ll open the stage for lightning talks and ideas!

Thanks and we hope to see you there!
